About Me

My name is Sara and I have been teaching private music lessons for 8 years. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education and a minor in piano, after earning my Associate's degree in music from Oklahoma City Community College in 2020.

My practices in teaching music are focused on tailoring lessons to the individual student, understanding their needs and goals, and guiding them toward their full potential. I coach my students through various musical exercises and activities aimed at increasing aural skills, musical understanding, technical skills, and music reading capabilities, along with collaboration skills, responsibility, patience, and determination.
